Account Supervisor

As an Account Supervisor, you will provide tactical counsel to clients, and manage the appropriate implementation on a variety of projects in a timely, deadline-focused manner. You will be a lead executive on smaller accounts, as well as a key leader on larger, higher-level accounts. As an Account Supervisor for your team, you will be responsible for entire group client performance, as well as the health of the agency and client relationships on ALL accounts. New business development, as well as managing and mentoring junior staff, are also integral aspects of this role.

Responsibilities include:

Clients/Accounts:

  • Manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis and provide strategic counsel
  • Implement roles with team members and support AE as day-to-day client contact
  • Support the AD/VP in the development of client contracts, scopes and budgets
  • Coaches junior staff in leading conference calls and client meetings (varies by client)
  • Provide unsolicited ideas to client on a regular basis
  • Strategize and contribute to the development of action plans that are creative, results-driven and fresh. Spearhead and oversee proactive media relations strategies and identify key opportunities
  • Lead in the presentation of plans to client teams; execute against plans and adapt as needed
  • Delegate responsibilities efficiently, encouraging development and providing education
  • Ensure annual PR objectives are reached/surpassed and within financial resources
  • Provides social media strategy and identifies upsell opportunities; underscores HIPR’s Digital expertise
  • Acts as quality control for all account work, providing managers with projects that are “client ready”

Media/Internal Relations

  • Drives staff performance reviews
  • Leverage established media relationships
  • Leads charge on new business proposals and presentations, managing timeline, budgets and execution
  • Monitor competition and identify industry trends. Share with teams and clients, as well as build creative and strategic pitches to support trends
  • Provide ongoing counsel and guidance to junior team members and supports AD/VPs with professional development, industry education
  • Attend industry events and network on behalf of the agency with media and industry contacts to continue to grow HIPR’s database
